The Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs is sending out questionably worded fundraiser invitations while his committee considers the Iran Refined Petroleum Sanctions Act of 2009.
Rep. Howard Berman (D-CA), sponsor of the bill, attended a fundraiser in his honor last week and offered donors who reached their maximum annual contribution of $5,000 a position in the chairman’s cabinet. Pro-Israel groups that favor sanctions on the Iranian regime for its ongoing nuclear program are Berman’s fourth top career donor, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
Beneficiary: congressional candidate, lawmaker, or entity which collects funds raised at party
Host: person who is hosting party-often, but not always, a registered federal lobbyist

Entertainment Type: type of gathering, such as "breakfast," "ski trip," "bowling"
